Sweet concept. I loved how weird and psychedelic it was, felt like I was in a fever dream or something.
I will say that I thought the 'Face. Surgery' bit was a bit played out but that may just be me.
That was really something. It had a very old classic feel to it.
I love the classic brickfilm style it has. Also, I have never seen a kaleidoscope used in a brickfilm before.
Having the mod be the same letter as the first THAC helps this feel like a THAC film of old, also it feels like a Guy Madden film.
This one's sticking with me. Its rare to see this grimy style in brickfilms. Nice work!
Probably one of my faves. You conveyed the theme very well without being really explicit (i.e unlike the majority of entries I've seen so far). I liked the subtle humour (and the not-so-subtle Ns), it worked superbly and left me having a chuckle by the end. The sound, the black & white and the transitions really made for a dreamy atmosphere not seen in many brickfilms. I don't really have anything negative to say. Great work man.
This screamed out as a 2008 brickfilm. I like it
This one is on my list of, well, strange brickfilms. But not in a bad way! I liked it. Poor guy is living in a world where everyone looks like . It reminded me of The LEGO Movie, with the effects and the closeups on the face, but it still had a classic feel too it. Good job.
Man, you've created a crazy atmosphere with this thing. The audio and visuals are harmonious and make something visceral in nature. It's like a whacked out classic version of MindGame's 101 Minifigs animation. Black and white was a smart creative decision, the psychedelic trip was made that much more powerful because of it. I can see this placing highly!
It feels like something straight outta an underground art house film festival. This is a fantastic tribute to classic brickfilms of old, and it's nice to see the Old Man making a comeback(?)
I like the way the story is conveyed by short phrases, obviously this is part of the style but there's a minimalism to it that is appealing regardless. The whole approach made this the most memorable THAC entry for me. It'd be cool to see something like this style in a more elaborate, non-THAC execution.
